Nour Zubaidi, BS

Hello! My name is Nour Zubaidi, I am currently an intern graduate student, completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern State University.

I am a Palestinian American, and I am fluent in both English and Arabic, and value creating an inclusive and culturally sensitive environment for clients of all ages and backgrounds.

I hope to work with clients of all ages, with a particular interest in supporting children, adolescents, and their families. Before beginning my counseling training, I worked as a high school teacher. This was an experience that gave me valuable insight and shaped my understanding of the emotional, social, and academic needs of adolescents, and it has reinforced my commitment to creating a supportive and understanding space for young people and their families.

I value a psychodynamic and holistic approach to therapy, hoping to help clients explore how their experiences, relationships, and emotions connect and influence how they feel and navigate the world today. My style is direct, intentional, and collaborative to help clients understand themselves and the world around them. I value and strive to create a warm and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe, understood, and supported when exploring their thoughts and emotions. I believe in meeting each client where they are and work collaboratively to support personal growth, overcome obstacles, and move towards healing and their own sense of happiness and well-being.
