Jennas Gallas, BA

Jennas Gallas is a pre-licensed provider working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.

Hi, I’m Jenna! I am a provisionally licensed therapist with experience assisting individuals in navigating life transitions, coping with anxiety, or simply navigating life’s everyday challenges. I earned my master’s degree from The Chicago School in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I enjoy working with people who have experienced trauma, attachment wounds, relational issues, and more. Starting therapy can be daunting, so I work to get to know each of my clients on a human level and create a therapeutic relationship that feels safe and trusting. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and gender affirming.

In a world that tells us who or what we should be, I want to cultivate a space where authenticity is at the forefront. In our work together, you are the expert of your own life. My role is to create space for every part of you – even the parts that feel shame, guilt, or fear. Together we will explore your experiences, uncover strengths, process and heal trauma, and build tools for emotional regulation, self-love, trust, and connection to your Self.

My approach is trauma-informed, humanistic, and rooted in decolonial and anti-oppressive frameworks. I value a holistic approach to therapy, where your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health are considered in the therapeutic process. I use a blend of Internal Family Systems, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and somatic techniques. This is not about fixing what’s “wrong” with you. It’s about reclaiming your wholeness, breaking free from shame, and stepping fully into a more meaningful life.
