Crystal is a counseling intern currently pursuing her master’s degree in counseling and psychology at National Louis University, She brings a deep commitment to support others through their mental health journeys. With a background in Applied Behavioral Science and over 20 years of experience in the medical field as an Echocardiographer, Crystal has developed strong communication skills, compassion, and the ability to build trust quickly with qualities that she now brings into her work as a counselor-in-training. 

Crystal is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. Her approach to counseling is rooted in empathy, active listening, and a genuine desire to help individuals navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve personal growth. 

Crystal’s professional experience in high-stress medical environments has given her a solid foundation in handling sensitive situations with care, discretion, and professionalism. As she continues her clinical training,  she is especially interested in collaborating with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. 

Ultimately, Crystal believes in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them as they work toward healing and self-discovery.
