My approach to counseling is to create a collaborative and safe environment that fosters a space to work through challenges whatever they may be to both heal and grow from. I view clients holistically and prioritize the importance of exploring all facets of a client’s life to make sure I have a deep understanding of their experience and to allow clients to create a stronger connection between mind, body, and spirit.
I incorporate a variety of different modalities including ACT, CBT, DBT and mindfulness-based interventions.
Background: I have my B.A in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and my M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I have experience working with a diverse range of clients from different cultural backgrounds, ages, and issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, and life transitions.
