Dallila Chacon

pronouns: she/her

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University, and I have experience working in private practice and customer service. I am currently at National Louis pursuing my masters in clinician mental health counseling. My professional background includes working with adults and children.

My philosophy and approach to counseling aligns with being our authentic, true, full selves unapologetically. I want to guide my clients to reach a powerful sense of self and trust in the decisions they make. Learning about who you are and what your boundaries are is my main
focus to help clients find peace with the different parts of themselves. I support clients in forming strong relationships and bonds in which they can feel secure and safe.

Areas of Focus / Specialties
I work with individuals who are navigating:
● Anxiety and Depression
● Trauma, past or present
● Relationships conflict
● Populations: Teens, young adults, couples, and adults

Therapeutic Approach / Modalities
My work is informed by solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a person-centered approach. I tailor sessions to each client’s needs, incorporating healthy cognitive restructuring, mindfulness practice, and empathy.

Clients often describe me as kind, sweet, responsible, honest, and nonjudgmental. In sessions, you can expect thoughtful conversation, gentle challenge, and meeting you where you are.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy binge-watching my favorite rom-coms, reading devotionals, hiking, and cooking. I believe that we all deserve to be heard and cared for.
