Vianey Brito

Vianey is a third-year graduate student pursuing her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University, where she also earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology in 2023. Of Mexican-American descent and fluent in both English and Spanish, she feels honored to offer culturally responsive support to clients in either language, meeting them in the words and traditions that feel most like home.

Vianey walks alongside her clients with care and patience, viewing the therapeutic journey as a shared path toward a deeper understanding of oneself and one’s world. She is deeply devoted to helping individuals gently identify and work through the challenges that brought them to therapy, while also helping them recognize the strengths and resources already within them that can support lasting, meaningful change. She honors each client’s unique pace and readiness, never rushing the process, because she believes healing unfolds differently for everyone. At its heart, she sees this work as a compassionate, collaborative journey toward greater self-awareness and self-understanding.

Vianey provides counseling services to adolescents and adults, drawing from person-centered therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to thoughtfully tailor her approach to each client’s needs. Above all, Vianey is devoted to creating a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported.
