Jaret Ross is a bilingual Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a master’s in Social Work from Loyola University. Originally from Mexico, she brings a deep understanding of cultural adaptation and resilience. Fluent in English and Spanish, Jaret specializes in working with refugees, children, adolescents, and adults. She integrates evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and DBT to help clients overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Passionate about advocacy and inclusion, she is dedicated to fostering resilience and personal growth.
Finding the right therapist is essential for meaningful support. With over seven years of experience, I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Using a holistic approach with Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, and Family Systems Therapy, I empower clients to navigate challenges. Fluent in English and Spanish, I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space, serving the LGBTQIA+ and Latino/x communities at our Crystal Lake location.
I take a collaborative approach to counseling, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs. Understanding that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, I tailor my methods to each individual’s needs, empowering them to achieve their goals. With a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Illinois University, I specialize in anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, and identity development. I am committed to providing a supportive space for individuals, families, couples, and the LGBTQIA+ community at our Crystal Lake and Oak Park locations.
