Diego Vintimilla is a graduate student at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, finishing his master’s program in Counseling Psychology.
He wants to contribute to working within the immigrant community by doing it in Spanish and English. He aspires to work as a bilingual clinician using the biosocial psycho approach in contrast to liberation and holistic therapy perspectives. Diego perceives mental health as essential to people’s well-being and is motivated to improve it as much as possible.
Diego is from Cuenca, Ecuador, and moved to Chicago after completing his bachelor’s at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming.
