Janithza Guevara is pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work at Erikson Institute. Her focus in the program is Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, where she has found a passion in working with families and focusing her work on relationships.
Janithza earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. As a student with educational background on the lifespan from infancy to older adulthood, Janithza considers her work with a developmentalist lens, engaging in the past and present self to advocate for who her clients are and evolving into.
With her proficiency in both English and Spanish, Janithza finds joy in connecting with clients of diverse communities. She welcomes individuals of all backgrounds and cultures, eager to learn from clients and committed to a multicultural competent approach.
