Clinical Supervisor, LCSW
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Dominican University’s Graduate School of Social Work and I have experience working in domestic violence agencies and private practice. I currently serve as a clinical supervisor outside of the therapy room.
I believe therapy is to understand what brings my clients in and to help them in the areas that are most important to them. I strive to help clients dig deep into what may be holding them back, including negative core beliefs and past traumas. The goal is not only recognizing these challenges but also healing from them. I believe in a collaborative effort between the therapist and client to develop therapeutic goals. Once identified, I help my clients reach those goals using psychoeducation-based tools enabling them to improve all pertinent areas of their lives and thrive.

My work is informed by CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy and EMDR. I do not see therapy as one-size-fits-all. Depending on the client’s needs, I may utilize solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, manifestation and other modalities. I always take a holistic, person-centered, and strength-based approach. Client autonomy and safety are of the utmost importance to me as a clinician.
I work to create a gentle environment where clients feel heard and seen in a safe space without judgement. My clients become comfortable expressing themselves, which leads to personal insight and growth. I believe they feel my investment in their overall well being. Together, we work towards a better future.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, following Chicago sports, and playing racket sports including tennis, paddle and pickle ball. I love being in the sunshine and love this quote: “Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise.”– Victor Hugo
