Fernando Freire, LCPC, LCSW


Fernando is a bilingual (Spanish) licensed clinical professional counselor with over 30 years of experience. He has worked as Executive Director of Community Mental Health Programs working with adults, children, adolescents, and families.  He has managed both outpatient settings and school-based settings.  He works with adults and families of any or no religious affiliation that want to integrate their spiritual or religious beliefs and values into their therapeutic process. As a source of hope, strength, and meaning he believes that spiritual and faith considerations are central in the life of many people. This is true across religious traditions, sexual orientation, races/ethnicities, socio-economic classes, ages, and genders. Fernando has also done hospice work and welcomes clients facing end of life situations themselves or loved ones. He is a member of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.

Greg Zera


After 40 years of perfecting his professional career in the Automotive Aftermarket, Greg launched another career as a Reiki Master Teacher and an Akashic Record Consultant. He has built a successful Reiki practice, taught numerous students the practice of Reiki and helped clients identify patterns of thinking and behavior through reading their Akashic Records. Krista Sherinian, LCSW


Krista Sherinian, LCSW is an eclectic psychotherapist trained in a variety of methods including Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Informed, John Gottman, art therapy, Theraplay, guided imagery, Emotional Freedom Techniques in practice since 1997.  She got her Bachelors and Masters in Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago.  She got trained by Language Access to Healthcare and Instituto Falcon to become fluent in Spanish.
Her work experience includes addiction counseling, crisis intervention, inpatient/outpatient psychiatric group work, and community mental health. Ms. Sherinian has been in private practice since 2003 at Dunham Counseling.
She provided group and individual clinical supervision at five area hospitals in Chicago and the suburbs.
Ms. Sherinian has given Continuing Education Unit seminars on the following topics: Ethics, managed care, What’s New in Neuropsychiatry, Using Collage in Art Therapy, and Evidence Based Holistic Methods for Mental Health.
As both a biological and an transracial adoptive parent from DCFS foster care she has a subspecialty in multicultural adoption and fertility.
She is a chapter co-leader of the Holistic Moms Network, Southwest Suburban Chapter, ENFP Myers-Briggs personality type, and a dog person.
Hobbies include painting, dance, and travel.

Norm Dasenbrook, MS, LCPC


We are pleased to announce that as of January 1, 2018 we are partnering with Dasenbrook Counseling Center.

Norm Dasenbrook has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counseling and Guidance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He has over 26 years experience in counseling adolescents, adults, couples and families. Norm is licensed by the State of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He is a court approved mediator in Boone and Winnebago counties for child custody and visitation issues. He is a consultant and provider to numerous local and national Employee Assistance Programs and Managed Health Care Companies.
