Brenda Flores is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has been working in the outpatient mental health since 2013. Brenda obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Dominican University. Brenda enjoys working with children, adolescents, & their families & enjoys using a variety of innovative techniques like play therapy, art, & music. She has worked with victims of domestic violence and at risk youth. Brenda has experience working in the school setting, working with child welfare cases, running groups with children/adolescents, and connecting families to early intervention programs. Brenda is trained in the Child-Parent Psychotherapy Model and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Brenda is very empathic and compassionate with her clients and uses a holistic strength based approach in her therapeutic work to improve family stability and connectedness. Brenda is also proactive in her professional development and has attended numerous trainings to expand her knowledge in the mental health field. In her spare time Brenda enjoys reading, music, & exploring new places.
