I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist and prioritize building a therapeutic relationship rooted in collaboration, authenticity, and creativity. I believe that my role as a therapist is to create a nonjudgmental, safe space to be yourself and feel understood, respected, and empowered to create lasting changes. I strive to create an environment that helps you establish a self driven path and allows you to set and alter your own therapy goals with ease.
Throughout my career, I have helped diverse populations in a variety of settings including community corrections, partial hospitalization programs, and community mental health. My areas of focus have included major life transitions, depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma recovery, and severe mental health disorders. I have specialized training in art therapy and am skilled in evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
My style is to integrate different approaches through a strengths-based, culturally competent lens to reach each unique individual. I enjoy incorporating art therapy, somatic techniques, and experiential methods for an engaging, personalized experience that supports emotional expression and fosters creative-problem solving to maximize the benefits of therapy. Throughout our time together, you will gain tangible tools to apply in your everyday life for healing and growth.
