I am a current student at Erikson Institute as a candidate for a Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health. I have worked in the social service field for 6 years with supporting families, children, and adults. I have always had a passion for helping and supporting others. I obtained my BA in psychology and minored in social work and sociology from Elmhurst University. Through social work, I have found a profession I find fulfilling. I am a big believer in people’s ability to change and my role to support and walk along them, with empathy, kindness, and non-judgmental support. I strive to support my clients, by meeting them where they are and doing collaborative work to accomplish the goals set up within therapy. I strive to set an environment of cultural humility within the sessions and my work with clients. I am fluent in Spanish and English.
