Jesus Gonzalez, LCPC

Jesus Gonzalez is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) that has been providing community based mental health services since 2008. With his fluency in Spanish and bicultural knowledge, he has spent the majority of those years assisting the Latino community. Jesus earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology Argosy University. He has been empowering children, adolescents, adults, and families to overcome personal obstacles to improve their mental and emotional well-being. Using evidence-based and holistic interventions, he has assisted clients on achieving resiliency in anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and ADHD. He also has past experience connecting families to early intervention programs while simultaneously assisting them with case management services.  He is trained in using CBT, EMDR, and some Mindfulness based approaches.

He continues to be proactive in his professional development by attending trainings and reading current literature to increase his knowledge in the mental health field. More recently, he completed advanced training from The Wellness Institute earning his Accelerated Hypnotherapy Certification Training. He continues to focus on working towards somatic interventions for treating complex trauma, while concurrently engaging in supportive and strengths-based treatments for your personal development. During his leisure time, he enjoys exercising, running at the park, reading, and attending family functions.
