Amar Davé is a Clinical Intern receiving his Master of Arts in Counseling from The Graduate School at Northwestern University. He received both his Bachelor of Arts, in Anthropology and Public Health, as well as his Master of Health Administration from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Taking from an integrated therapeutic approach, Amar works with clients that come from a wide variety of histories and backgrounds, with no restrictions on age, race, gender, ethnic background, religions, socioeconomic status, and sexual orientation. He works with individuals who may struggle with, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, stress management, interpersonal relationship work, adjustment disorders, and relationship issues. While there are no limitations to who he works with, he has a particular interest issues surrounding the LGBQT+ population, sex therapy, and same-sex couples.

Amar truly believes in fostering a healthy environment within the therapeutic space. He believes the client should feel comfortable speaking about their thoughts and feelings free from any judgement. By creating such an environment, he will provide a client-centric and strength-based approach, with problem-solving techniques, to allow the client to feel empowered and become their best selves. He believes in a holistic approach to overall health and wellness, and draws from a variety of fields for his clients.

Amar is fluent in English and Gujarati. He also is competent with our Spanish speaking clients as well.
